About STEP Australia
STEP is a multidisciplinary global professional association for those advising families across generations, with more than 21,000 members across 96 countries. Our mission is to inspire confidence in families planning their assets across generations by setting and upholding high professional standards, informing public policy, promoting education, and connecting practitioners globally to share knowledge and best practice.
All STEP Members belong to a local branch, providing opportunities to network with peers at a local level. There are over 100 STEP branches and chapters across the world, providing a global network of cross jurisdictional resources and support. In Australia there are branches in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria/Tasmania, South Australia, and Western Australia. Each branch provides an annual program of high quality continuing professional development, bringing together lawyers, accountants, financial planners, trustee company employees and other professionals engaged in the provision of services in relation to trusts and estates.
